No its not true because the payments for gold go towards the cost of maintaining lives servers to keep them at there high quality, brbrAnd if xbox made live gold free then the servers wouldnt be kept at such a high standard and the quality of the online game play would decrease, and persuades its only a year which isnt necessary breaking the bank. and they will also have to stop offering some of the gameaddons for free or at a reduced price which would be a bummer

Wow...some answers good, but some are just wrong. There are levels to Live. Gold and Silver. Silver is free. It allows you access to downloads from the Xbox Marketplace. Games, TV shows, movies, etc. With Silver, you cannot play games against or with others on line. For that, you need Gold. Gold is everything in Silver plus on line play. Gold, if in US, is fifty dollars a year. Not a month. Thats insane. If you go monthly, its . a month. Much better deal to go annually. Thats the deal.

Ive been thinking about this, considering that PS will some of the most ground breaking games like Uncharted, MGS and Killzone while Xbox keeps remaking Halo keeping it steadily mediocre but people still buy more Xboxs why would developers be bothered with making games that push the envelope when they can take a shallow game like Halo and bump up the graphics a bit and sell millions.
I have to agree with you because the majority of rd party multiplatform games are just Xbox ports, and most rd party multiplatform games dont showcase what the PS is truly capable of and are holding the PS back.brbrIn order for a developer to pull the most out of the PS, a game has to be developed exclusively for the PS, or the PS needs to be the lead platform for multiplatform games. And when you compare PS exclusives like Uncharted to Gears of War, the PSs graphics top the Xbox s game every single time. And the funny thing is that the Xbox is literally at its limit, developers have only scratched the surface with the PS and whats its capable of doing in video games.brbrI think that when Hideo Kojima said that he was going to make MGS a PS exclusive, to me, that was like a spit in the face to the Xbox because MGS couldnt be made on the Xbox without downscaling the game to run on a DVD disc. I have had my Xbox since last June and had Xbox live since last October. From what Ive experienced, buying my Xbox premium before BOTH price drops at . was the best gaming decision Ive ever made. Now that theyre . for the premium, its way better for your money and the quality of Xbox and its game selection beats by very far both the PS and the Wii combined. If you want quotfamily friendlyquot and cheap games, go ahead and get Wii, theres only very few for Xbox , and just about all PS games you can get for but has more games than just that, including Halo ... best game EVER!!! My daughter has asked for this for her birthday in July. We already have a PS, a leap pad handheld system and the little kids game system its orange she wont use because she thinks its for babies. Is she actually going to be able to manipulate the controllers on the Wii amp are there enough little kid games for her. If your year old thinks that she is too big for the leap pad system then she is probably capable of operating the Wii system. Its for both. I have it and my whole family likes to play it. They have other stuff to that gyms dont like balance and yoga. They also have stuff to make you stronger, so if you want it, not only is it fun, but its also a good work out.

You can either play the games just for fun and still be active or you can use it for a full work out and keep track of your weight and set goals.brbrI have lost lbs on it and that was from using it minutes a day for about a month and days a week. I do minutes of the step aerobics, then the hula hoop, then minutes of step boxing, then I end up with strength training and yoga, if you set it up like a regular work out you will sweat and lose weight. brbrIf you use it correctly there is no way that you wouldnt not feel it working. Especially the boxing and hula hoop, I am sore every time after that. You can also do running, push ups, etc.brbrI think it is a great motivational game and good for if you cant get to a gym or go outside, and the kids do all the exercises as well as the games and I have kids ranging from .brbrbrbrEDIT jcot......the lady at the store said it is not that great and you basically just run in place? That idiotic statement kept you from getting one or checking into it further? There is one exercise where you run in place and that is the jogging exercise, you hold the wiimote and jog but you have to keep the same pace up and at the end it tells the percentage of calories you have burned. That is one out of a whole bunch of exercises. And you cant run on the balance board so if she told you that is basically all there is then what a moron.

Yes it is good in some ways. Its a new add to the Wiis new controls and it is very smart the way they made it. Dont get it if youre the gamer who wants a game with lots of mini games or adventure guy or racer or whatever. There are many other games. limewire has viruses on it but they are easy to spot and avoid. Dont download anything in a zip folder and try to stay away from downloading porn off of limewire and you will be fine. MPs dont have viruses on them but if you want to be sure get the one with multiple computer sources and you can always do a virus scan of the mp before you play it.brbr

You can get around putting a credit card number. I have an iTMS Japan account using prepaid cards and I dont have a Japanese credit card. You STILL need to put in a valid street address, but you can skip credit card info by redeeming a card.

Yeah there is virgin media broadband that just comes into the house with its own cable, there is also mobile broadband from , orange, vodafone, tmobile, o and so on. Just go into one of their shops and they can sort you out with one, on contract or pay as you go apart from orange on pay go. I used and orange mobile broadband and they were very good, the orange one was better though.

The reason they tell you to charge it before using it the first time is because the battery very likely has little charge. They dont want you returning it just because you never charged the battery. Or if you only charged it for an hour. So charge it first.brbrBut, if you dont, and it does have some charge that it works, its NOT going to shorten your batterys life. It just wont last as long as a fullycharged battery will before needing to be charged. So youre going to have to charge it sooner or later. But it wont damage anything if you choose later.brbrBottom line is that it will NOT shorten your batterys life and it will NOT damage your battery or your cellphone. The worst that will happen is that it may die out when youre least expecting it, and THEN youll have to recharge it.
