Is Wii worth it for a year old?
My daughter has asked for this for her birthday in July. We already have a PS, a leap pad handheld system and the little kids game system its orange she wont use because she thinks its for babies. Is she actually going to be able to manipulate the controllers on the Wii amp are there enough little kid games for her. FYI my husband is voting for this as well, Im not sure if he put this bug in her ear or not.

If your year old thinks that she is too big for the leap pad system then she is probably capable of operating the Wii system. I am not normally a huge advocate of the Wii but seems like the perfect age for the system. Here are some reasonsbrbr. The controls are EASY to learn. Its generally very simple motions that are repeated.br. The Wii games are generally very children friendly. Most of the titles out are based on Cartoon movies that most year olds go crazy for.br. Dad can play. Although I think Dad will overall be dissapointted at the lack of quotBig boyquot games for him to play after baby girl goes to sleep I think he will enjoy playing along with her.
